Happy Birthday Sweet Audrey

208210

I absolutely cannot believe our sweet baby girl is four years old!  It really does seem like only yesterday that we headed out early, early the day the after Christmas to go have our baby girl.  I will never forget the first time I saw her precious little face.  And although it’s little hard to see to see her growing up so fast, I love her more every single day. And I am so thankful Audrey Elizabeth.

I stole the idea to do a birthday interview with Audrey to capture her thoughts at four years old:

What is your favorite color: “Zebra & Purple”

What is your favorite food: “Soup”

What is your favorite drink: “Sprite”

What is your favorite animal: “Zebra”

Who is your best friend:”Hopie”

What is your favorite toy: “Buddy & McKenna” (Buddy is actually a real dog, not a toy, but she pretty much plays with him like a toy…he’s a good dog.)

What is favorite thing to play: “Puzzles”

What is your favorite show: “Peppa Pig”

What is your favorite song: “Jesus song”

What are you scared of: “Lobsters & tigers”

What do you want to be when you grow up": “Nothing, just stay with mommy and daddy”

What makes you happy: “You” (that’s me, mommy!!)

Isn’t she something?  I sure think so.

Christmas Day

We always spend Christmas day with Jeff’s side of our family.  So after our morning at home we headed over to Nana and Frantz’s to celebrate with them, the Watkins, and Grandma.  We had a yummy lunch, opened a ton of presents, then just relaxed and enjoyed our “white Christmas!”150153154156160163165185186195204

Christmas Morning

So much fun!!! The entire Christmas season was so much fun with an almost four year old!  Christmas morning was no exception.  Audrey was delighted with all her presents and so sweet about everything.  Jeff and I really loved the smiles we saw on her face that morning!

Christmas Eve

Our family Christmas celebrations always start on Christmas Eve with my family.  This year, we spent the morning at home and let Audrey open a gift early.  Then we headed to my parents house for dinner, over to my grandma’s to visit and have presents with the extended family, and then back to my parents to open even more presents with my mom, dad, sisters and the gang.  As usual it was a fun and wonderful celebration.  Dad read the Christmas story in front of the fireplace as he has done for as long as I can remember.  It was really special this year because Audrey has a better understanding of the true reason for our Christmas celebrations.
