4 Month Check-Up

Audrey had her 4 month check-up yesterday afternoon. She had to get two more sets of shots, and really did not like it at all. At her 2 month check-up it seemed like she barely noticed the shots, but this time was a different story! She screamed and cried for quite awhile after the shots and had a really fussy evening altogether. Otherwise, the check-up went great. Audrey is healthy and obviously well-nourished:)

Weight: 14 lbs & 13 oz (75th percentile)

Length: 23 inches (25th percentile)

Head Circumference: 16 in. (5oth percentile)

Fashion Show

Audrey is getting so big and outgrowing her clothes so quickly lately. The other night I got her picture in a few outfits I love that she won't be able to wear much longer. There were actually several others I wanted to get pictures in, but she will only tolerate pictures and wardrobe changes for so long. Can you guess which outfit is Daddy's favorite?

Audrey's First Easter

These are some pictures from Audrey's first Easter. We had a really fun, really busy day. We started out at our home church with Nana and Frantz for the early service. Then we headed out to attend Church with my mom and dad and sisters and their families.

After going to our second church of the day, we went back home to have lunch with all of Jeff's family. Trey and Kaylee had fun helping Audrey find the Easter presents Nana hid in her bedroom and even helped us get some cute pictures of Audrey with her goodies.

Finally, it was out to my parents house for Easter supper and of course, more Easter candy. It was a beautiful day and a wonderful way to spend Audrey's first Easter. Easter has always been a very special holiday in my family because of the real reason for the celebration, Jesus Christ, who gave his life to save us. My parents made sure that we never got so carried away with fun Easter festivities to forget the real reason for the celebration. I'm really grateful for that and will do the same for Audrey.

Cousins, Cousins, Cousins

All of my nephews, my niece, and my little sister love Audrey to pieces, so here are a few pictures of them taking turns holding her. The only one missing is Bradley, and if remember correctly, he was snoozing on the couch during our photo session.

What a Big Girl!

Audrey is growing so fast! She almost has full control of those neck muscles now. She lifts her head and sometimes lifts herself with her arms when she's on her tummy. She's also really using her legs, kicking around, pushing off and putting weight on them. She really uses them when she's having a little fit (not that she does that very often)! She's also really enjoying her activity gym right now. It's amazing how much she changes from day to day!

Sweet Sleeping Baby

These are just a couple of pictures of Audrey sleeping. Even though she is growing so much, she still looks so tiny in her bed. Audrey is getting really close to being able to roll over. She moves around a lot now when she's sleeping and one morning we found her turned completely around!

Friends

A couple of weeks ago, Audrey and I got a chance to meet up with two of my best friends, Kyla and Stephanie, and their kiddos for the afternoon. Kyla's mom and dad were kind of enough to let us all invade their house since it's kind of our "meet in the middle" location. It was such a fun day. It's always been fun to spend time with the girls, but this time was really special for me, since it was the first time we'd all been together at the same time since Audrey arrived. Hope these kids will get to spend lots more time together over the years and still be friends when they are all grown up just like us!
