Four Year Old Check-Up

So, way back in January Audrey had her four year check-up.  Hard to believe I am writing that…four years old!!!! Doesn’t seem possible. Anyway, just as I suspected, turns out she is still perfect.  Except that she really hates shots!

Nana’s Birthday

I am so behind on blogging…I’ve been wanting to catch up chronologically, but that’s not gonna happen, so we’ll start with the present- Nana’s birthday.  We celebrated Nana’s birthday week before last.  Audrey loves birthdays and was so excited to make Nana a cake.  I was exhausted that weekend and almost tried to talk her out of it, but felt guilty.  So Nana got a cake made from a mix, but decorated with love by her youngest granddaughter…Happy Birthday, Nana.

I absolutely cannot believe our sweet baby girl is four years old!  It really does seem like only yesterday that we headed out early, early the day the after Christmas to go have our baby girl.  I will never forget the first time I saw her precious little face.  And although it’s little hard to see to see her growing up so fast, I love her more every single day. And I am so thankful Audrey Elizabeth. 

I stole the idea to do a birthday interview with Audrey to capture her thoughts at four years old:

What do you want to be when you grow up": “Nothing, just stay with mommy and daddy”

Christmas Day

We always spend Christmas day with Jeff’s side of our family.  So after our morning at home we headed over to Nana and Frantz’s to celebrate with them, the Watkins, and Grandma.  We had a yummy lunch, opened a ton of presents, then just relaxed and enjoyed our “white Christmas!”
