Nine Months Old

It's so hard to believe our little miracle is already 9 months old! The time has gone by so quickly. Audrey is such a beautiful, precious baby. She has the best personality. She smiles and laughs all the time and is just such a joy to us. We are so, so, so, so beyond blessed to have this baby girl in our lives. We love you Audrey!!! (Top picture is a flashback, she was about 2 or 3 days old in it).

Happy Birthday to Me!!!

Last Tuesday was my 33rd birthday and the best one ever. I took the day off and stayed home with Audrey all day. It was the perfect day to be at home with my little girl, cool and rainy. We went to my parents house for dinner and as you can see from the pictures, Audrey couldn't wait any longer for birthday cake and reached right over and grabbed it. She got icing all over us, and was pretty proud of herself. Guess she was practicing for her first birthday!

This was of course, my first birthday as a mom to the sweetest little baby in the world, so it was extra special.

Yum,Yum, Yum!

Here are a few pictures of Audrey eating mashed potatoes all by herself. It was pretty messy, but she had fun!

Photo Shoot Meltdown!

I think the pictures tell the story...

Posing

Audrey and Hope posed for pictures for me on Sunday. I think Hope has become an expert. Even got big Ty to sit in a picture with the girls. What a sweet boy!

Watching TV

Audrey thinks something is pretty funny.

Hanging with Hopie

Audrey is lucky enough to have a special little aunt who is only 4 years older than her. It is already obvious that Audrey thinks Hope is just the coolest! Every time Hope gets near her, Audrey goes crazy, laughing, waving her arms, and bouncing around. And Hope is becoming a really sweet playmate. She gladly shares all her toys with Audrey and is very protective of her. She already knows which toys Audrey can play with and which ones aren't safe for her. So many years of fun ahead for these two!

More Family Fun

On Saturday we went to Rockwall to visit with Nana and the Watkins. We had a really fun day, even though it was dreary and rainy. Nana wanted to get a picture with the grandkids, not as easy as it sounds, with an eight and half month old and two silly cousins. We did end up with some cute ones though.

Wild Child

Our living room is about the most child-proofed room in our house. So Audrey is pretty much free to play around in there and she is all over the place! Here are a few pictures from the other night before she went to bed. She is such a happy baby. She is also a VERY active little thing, I think we might have a wild one on our hands...

Family Fun

We had dinner at my parent's house for Labor Day. Audrey always has a good time because there is no shortage of people to hold and entertain her. That's one of the many wonderful things about having a big family. Holidays are so much fun. I can't wait for Christmas season this year, it will mean even more to us this year than ever. And believe it or not, the family is still growing. Audrey won't be the only baby at our holiday celebrations much longer. My sister, Carmen, is having a sweet baby boy in December. I am so glad Audrey will get to grow up with him. Family is such a blessing.

Hangin Out

Audrey is quite the little busy body. She wants to be on her own, exploring the house all the time. We finally got her a Jenny Jump Up to try to keep her occupied, but she only tolerates it for few minutes at a time. Then, it's back to business...
